Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     I always use imagebam because imagebox doesn't allow the download with ImageHost Grabber.

    I don't know. I know that some time ago imagebox allowed IHG but I don't know why it stopped this.

    the ImageHost Grabber extension that's available from the Firefox Add-on Repository is out of date, and no longer supported, which is why they stopped pushing out host file updates, and hosts like imgbox and someimage don't work anymore. more and more hosts will stop working over time...

    the developers released a new version, which can be downloaded directly from their forums - I can't link directly, but you can google ImageHost Grabber Forum and it's the first result.

    *Note - the current version of IHG doesn't work with Firefox at all anymore, as they don't comply with FF's addon signing policy, as of FF46 (current version). the workaround provided by the developers is to install the Pale Moon web browser, which is a fork of Firefox. I've done this, and IHG works perfectly with Pale Moon, and is updated to include all current file hosts. the downside is needing to boot up Pale Moon whenever I want to download full image sets, as I still use FF for most of my browsing. there's also the security risk, knowing that they weren't compliant with FF's new security policies, but IHG have been around for quite a while, and have a large install base, and so far I haven't heard of any issues...
