Not really the writers' call, they're like glorified monkeys on typewriters. More like her bosses gave her that honor, up to and including the entire head of the company, Vince McMahon. It's scripted television, but to be given a lead role in a television show is still something to be proud of. But I get it, reclining in your chair and firing off dozens of insults on here every day is your shtick so go right ahead.

 

It saddens me that sarcasm is lost on so many people these days.

 

You mocked a celebrity for having pride in their accomplishment(s), so I'm not really sure "Hey, don't be mad at me for trying to knock them down a peg, I was just joking!" applies here since I understood clearly what you were doing. When did you stop being proud of being the resident asshole here?

I may be an asshole but that doesn't make me intolerant of other members. In fact, I'm incredibly fair. So much so that people often take advantage of my good nature, much like you did with your last post. Any other mod here would have perma-banned you without comment for calling them an asshole in public. However, I wouldn't press my luck if I were you, because I'm not the only mod who can take exception to your words towards me.

 

Okay, now you're just fucking with me. You've relished in your own crotchety nature on here for a loooong time. And yes, that means being an asshole about anything on here. Why you're denying that and passive aggressively threatening me is beyond me but whatever. Like I said, it's your shtick, and you'll keep doing this, no matter how annoying it can be at times.

But you were wrong, which is why I corrected you about the writers not being relevant with her success/opportunities/whatever. I guess you were technically being sarcastic but you made the wrong joke, she should have thanked her boss instead of the useless writers. And that's still being dismissive about whatever hard work she may or may not have put in at her job. Yeah, nepotism reigns supreme, but you don't know if she rode coattails to the top of her company or not so why take potshots at someone like that? We're all wrong about trivial things, I don't really get why you blew up over this. Does no one ever correct you about anything?
