Still don't get where the "Emma Watson is a feminazi!!!111!!!1" comes from. I've yet to see anything extreme about her at all.

Or are you simply one of those that call anything feminist feminazism? Yeah that's probably it.

 

Insecure men are threatened by a smart woman who isn't subservient to them. I'm pretty sure there's a direct correlation between vehement hatred of feminism and very small penises -- although I don't check penises, so I can't be sure.

That wasn't meant to be bashing but a sad attempt at humour that went sideways. My apologies for any drama this has brought as that was not my intention. I'll just keep silent and just post the odd picture set I come across from now on as I seem to be unable to keep my foot out of my mouth around here.

Apparently it stems from the brand of feminism ("3rd wave" is what I've seen it called) she is reportedly supporting/pushing that isn't necessarily for equality but places women above all (claiming everything is a part of the evil patriarchy holding women down), blames all men (especially white men) for women's woes around the world, cries victim about everything they don't like, and may have some racist ideas though I chop that to be the very radical sect and not necessarily Emma herself.

Anyway, again, bad joke that was not meant to offend much less start this shitstorm so I'll say "My bad" and just go back to being a quiet lurker/sometimes poster.

 

She has never so much as implied any of that nonsense. As with any group, there are the radicals on the fringe that misunderstand the intent of the movement and take it too far, but as is also generally common, these radical idealogues are a very small portion of the greater movement.

Those that try to paint Emma Watson and all feminists as radical, irrational man-haters are at best very confused and at worst using broad strokes intentionally as a means to discredit feminism as a whole for their own reasons.

Well I've yet to see anything from Emma that suggests is behind those sort of views. Same goes for most feminists I've come across.

 

She is a waste of space on the planet. Entitled brat!

 

Emma isn't a 3rd wave feminist. She speaks for women in places like Tanzania and Bangladesh, whose struggles, I assure you, are very real. She's not trying to keep the white man down.

 

I just knew if I clicked this thread it would just be people arguing about Emma and her feminism. The admins keep threatening people who engage in discussions or arguments in pic threads and yet nearly every Emma Watson thread descends into the same thing as this one... :|

 

No, then she'd be a cheap whore because those morons just need to look down on other people to make their own miserable life seem less pitiful, and female celebrities are the easiest target.
