  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I love VJ but I honestly have little excitement for that film.
    I can't recall a modern film about geeks or losers that felt authentic.
    Freaks and Geeks, The Breakfast club and even cheezy comedies like revenge of the nerds had more authentic socially awkward losers than modern shallow abercrombie and fitch iterations.
    Its not just geek films its like Hollywood isn't even trying anymore. i just watched the new XXX Xander cage returns with a cast of gorgeous guys and girls. I can overlook the fact that a reclusive hacker who lives off the grid is a supermodel. Or that an elite team of secret agents look like models or theirs an amazing exclusive night club in the jungle filled with foreign runway models but when everyone in the film looks fake the film loses the suspension of disbelief. I know they can't hire ugly authentic looking people but at least dont make everyone a pretty person from the pages of Glamour Magazine.

    yeeash I didn't mean to rant but looks like I did :)
