    Obviously don't like her hairstyle at all. I don't think even she likes it - she just does it (like many other a-list celebs) because "she can". It's like they're trying to look as bad as possible and still being "wanted". It's like Leo looking like a homeless guy and still scoring the hottest VS angels. They just don't give a fuck...

    Actually it was reported the other day that since the break up she spends time online looking at pictures of herself where she looks good to cheer herself up. So while rich, she is super fucking weird and insecure. Not happily ever after though.

    Basically this. It seems Katy's just entered the obligatory "I'm a Very Mature and Politically/Spiritually Engaged Artist Now, Please Take Me Seriously" phase lots of popstars go through. It always comes coupled with a severe toning down of their public personas, sex appeal, and outrageous onstage outfits.
    With the exception of Madonna, who actually produced a couple good albums during said phase, most of the times it just comes across as opportunistic and phony with the popstar in question inevitably reverting back to their former selves and I really doubt it'll be any different with Katy.
    So yeah the hair will obviously grow back, and I don't believe she "owes" me anything, it just sucks that it's very likely it'll take a pretty long while before it happens.
