    I think the original guy's age added to the image that he could have lived the life the ads were trying to put across whereas this new guy seems a tad too young to be seen as being possibly "the most interesting man in the world".

    The commercials are way better than the beer. That might even be an equation: the better the commercial = the worse the beer. The amber is drinkable in a pinch.
