Hehehe.. maybe we can plan a backpacking trip in Yosemite sometime. I didn't go this year, but i am definately planning on going this coming summer. Not many women is into the outdoors where sanitaion devices is a luxury. That and the same food day in and day out gets boring for most, but the views is breath taking. I'll try and take pictures when i go this summer. You can see if you want to join me on a later trip in the future.

 

You're too sweet Nick... thanks babe! I've been great, really good actually. And yes, out of the biz and happy with that... still a total fucking perv, and somewhat of an exhibitionist, but now just all in person, not on film.... well mostly, but those are private photos. LOL.

I LOVE Yosemite! I love camping and backpacking... I'm also cool eating trail mix for days.. for me the reward is the nature, so inspiring. I would LOVE to see photos. I'll post some of the snow here too if you want.

 

not bad, quit my job, trying to turn pro in MMA, mixed martial arts. Just training 10 hours a day. Hoping 2007 is a better year than 06. Just started Dating a fantastic girl(who also happens to be into girls..hint hint!). So things are lookin up. Miss you on here, you don't know how happy i am your back. Need someone to talk dirty too, river just doesn't do it for me anymore.

 

Congrats on your goals... I wish you much success with them. Training 10 hrs a day is intense and honestly, sounds like fun. So she's into girls? Yummmmmmmmm.....


And thanks, it feels good to be back. I've missed you guys too. It was an odd transition, but it's nice to spam around here and chat without being attached to a site. Very different.

lol, when i go i backpack ultra light, No trailmixes. Only thing i bring edible is rice and miso, i catch all the trout i eat and maybe bring 2 packages of ready made meals in case of bad weather where i can't fish. Other than that like you i go for the beauty of the place, not for the comfort. But i will definately try to bring a disposable digital camera. 3 years ago when i went i brought a disposable film camera. The pic quality is good but not something i would inport via a scanner to a comp for.

But sure would love to see a pic of you in the snow. Just how hard is your new body?

 

Thanks... you know that means alot River! Just snow... but it's still pretty to view... sometimes nature is better solo, although I'm no Ansel Adams.

LMAO. No trailmix? Ack! Actually that's smart to pack light, you have to really. I love rice, miso and fish... so it's on! Definitely take pics if you can, even if the quality isn't great, you can still get a sense of the awesomeness of the place.

My body? Hmmm... I spend several hours almost every day working out in some way... so I'd say it's pretty hard, but I'm not a body builder... so just more tone, and leaner. Nothing fits me anymore.

 

Yeah, when you start out at 9.500 feet and go as high as 14,400 feet where there is still snow in the middle of summer in certain spots you gotta pack light. Bivy sack (although i can try to squeeze you in with me), fleece jacket and pants, fly pole, bear canister for the food, pots, fuel(no open fires above 12,000 feet) and all the other necessities my pack weighs around 35-40 pounds). There isn't room for a whole lot of comfort stuff. Although i do plan one year of hiring a mule and guide to carry up a bunch of stuff and just porking it out at one of the lakes.


You were never fat to begin with, but buyiong a whole new wardrobe must be expensive.

Maybe someday we can see this new fit body of yours besides the pic in your sig.

Azz... you're bad. Tempting me wayyy too much. Maybe you will see some pics someday. Some non-nude ones that is.

A mule guide? seriously? that sounds cool... haven't done that yet. I did just hike about a month back to 11k feet, but I haven't gone higher than that yet. The altitude cann really hit you hard if you're not prepared. I know it sounds crazy, but the challenge and lack of comfort of hiking is part of what appeals to me... makes the beauty that much better, IMHO.

But yeah i never did do it for the comfort although i would like someday to just be lazy for one of the trips and have a watermelon carried up for me.

But you are right, one year i wanted to do this loop that would have brought me to 5 different lakes in yosemite, i brought a neighborhood kid up with my best friend cause his dad died when he was 8, he was 14 at the time and a really athletic kid. I didn't realize how bad of an altitude sickness he got until we had to take him back down after the third day. My friend and i had to split up his backpack and help him carry it down. If you don't drink lotts of fluids and pace yourself i know grown men who puke their guts out all the way back down.
