TheRiver "rant" [phun] - dedicated to the work of my fellow mods 9/14/06

thought it´s about time for a simple question.

which parts of the Model-Forum-Rules are indeterminate?

- file-hosts? http://forum.phun.org/showthread.php?t=103945.
- how to post pics? http://forum.phun.org/showthread.php?t=87755.
- banned content? Playboy. Full pic-sets (zip-links too). Site-Rips. Active-Models-content.
- general behaviour? oh well...

Believe it or not, but adopt it - there are good reasons for each of the rules. Some are common sense (no content of active models posting here, no illegal stuff, no viruses, trojans etc.), some for our pleasure (proper posting, titeling), some for keeping Phun alive (no zips, no full sets etc.). There are always enough webmasters, lawyers etc. around to threat phun.
In most cases posters who violate the forum-rules will be informed via PM what "went wrong". Sorry for all posts trashed by us without pre-alert. but there are days it´s hard to catch-up.
But, tbh: do we expect too much when demanding to have a look at rules, stickies etc. before contributing?

If you´re uncertain about anything - ask. Mods or regulars.
If you continue to disrespect the rules - use your temporarily ban to re-read.
I´m not fishing for compliments, moderating a place like Phun is work, we knew that in advance. But don´t try to decrease our fun here. All this "i didn´t know that..." is tireing on a certain point.

I think that the ones breaking the rules can be broken down into two catagories:

1) Idiots that are too fucking lazy to read or care about rules, or..

2) Spammer, here to try and get us to look at something that could lead to a paysite, spyware or virus

just wanted to say a quick thanks to The River and all the other mods here on Phun... not for your quality posts and witty reparte'... even though they are witty and quality...
but thanks for the work here on phun...
most of us slugs our here have NO IDEA what you do to keep Phun alive... i have just enough of an idea to be scared!
