hmm, not so taken with the animated #4 this week. The text is just flat and weak., the border is,,eh. animation itself isnt that smooth lazy feeling that would go with the eye motions. The sunlight effect is very top notch though, really fits the piece just right. I'm guessing the eye animation would have been smoother if the filesize hadnt kicked in.
#1 I like the eyes text very much, dont need an explanation of the girl as she's not the point, wasnt wild about the style personally, although I did get the idea.
#2 is knocked out by the over use of grain/texture. Eyes are always about clarity and spirit. A heavy grain with a harsher effect will always look counter intuitive.
#3 a similar problem to #2, only this time it's out of focus which again makes the sig lack clarity.
#5 clean, clear, nice subtle border that doesnt intrude, dont see the purpose in adding her name, but that's a style thing. I'd be even more pleased with this one if it had been zoomed in even more on the eyes. Nice use of a topaz like effect to make things look clean. This one is my vote this week
