anyone else noticed these redirects from imagehigh when clicking on thumbs of pics hosted there?
looks like another imagehost with bandwidth-issues.
consider to keep off imagehigh when it comes to pic-posting.
hotlinked pics like the "cover"-pics in Slayer´s threads or sigs obviously are not affected.

well, trying not to make this list endless... we trash such posts if we happen to see them.

 

imagepal does suck, and it has pop-ups as well. here is an example.

And imagehigh which has already been mentioned seems to be having more issues. Signatures are coming up with some massive, strange pics. Adding that to the offsites that the pics take you too, it's pretty much a pointless host all round now.

just don´t use them anymore. and we recommend not to klick on respective thumbs.

if anyone is able to proof any kind of malware youre welcome to poin that out - each of these hosts is ready to be promoted to the "banned list".

imagehaven etc, all of them have ads and imagevenue has popups too, is the only way we have to mantain the free service cause we have to pay server hosting and other things u may know ,
we had 3 ads and a popup in each page ,now we
have 2 ads one at the top of the page that is big
and then a little one below the picture and popup that appears 3 times per user, so
we are trying to display the pic in a way that
doesn't hungry the viewer. so for that reason
we redesigned our page.
We are open to your complains about our site
and about your opinions , so don't doubt to

Recently we moved from one server to other
cause we had to Increase our bandwidth ,so
we have now a bigger space and we can
assure you , we will not have anymore problems.

We decrease the popup behavior to 1 popup per user per day.

I'm glad you guys got rid of some of the ads on Imagepal. The ads that were troublesome for me were the ones that pop up right in front on the picture, I don't mind ads if they only stay off to the side of the page. I also like that you guys got rid of the member sign up bar that was in front of the pic too.

 

first of all - it´s nice to have the webmaster of an imagehost here. maybe both sides can benefit.
i´m pretty sure you did some "market-surveys" to have a look at some of your competitors. ads, thumb-quality, loading-time, bandwidth-capacities etc. etc.

personally i don´t like ads, but i know things don´t work without.
just have in mind (as much as possible...) - as long as it´s about an imagehost with some "decent" ads - fine. if ads become rampant it´s annoying.
