    She did a lot of strength training for the the role. Nice lean athletic body, wonderful face. Such a better actress than Fisher or Portman. Master J.J. did well in casting this girl.......

    I just hope she is a Kenobi......

    Better than Fisher, most likely, but I suspect the greatest actress in the world could have done little with the detritus Portman was given as dialogue. I think Portman's a better actress than Ridley (though we'll see what she does in the future), but unfortunately the prequels are hardly a fair point on which to judge her.

    Doesn't matter how good an actor you if you have a terrible director. Lucas' technique was just "Read the Line", "What's my motivation George?", "I Don't CARE I SAID READ THE LINE!"
