Thanks Mullet... never left, just was waiting to see how things would settle. Still waiting actually, but figured going into the weekend, we all needed some naughty cheer.

it's more of a guess and a gut feeling, but I'm betting Hotfile is taking one last ditch effort before they "grab the cash and run" - that was sorted hinted to me when they changed their affiliate program, so they could REALLY maximize their profits. Combined with they way they're suspending accounts at the slightest sniff of a sharing violation, really makes them stink of a quick exit soon.

So, while I use them as a mirror, I'd advise users not to buy a premium membership cuz as I said, I get the feeling their going to do a "ditch, grab and run" quite soon. :|

Rapidshare is likely running slower because a good number of uploaders are going back to using Rapidshare... but wouldn't put it pass both RS and HF to decrease speeds for free users now more than they have in the past. :roll:
