    Pure speculation: Because I am sure she put that in her contract upfront. I mean it is obvious that everyone and their mother will go online and inspect those shots, so ... she / her lawyer is going to make sure she just appears to be naked or the FX department uses brushes to make the string thong disappear. Like they edited Jessica Alba in Machete IIRC. And then additionally for this particular instance, they'll put some sort of heavy black bars in place.

    But of course I'd be a happy camper as the next best guy if she is actually naked in the Bluray release. :D

    This films is about happenings in the 1960s. There where no Thongs then. The last picture clearly shows she has "normal" panties on.

    Did a few things to clear 'em up, while (mostly) avoiding dark area pixelation.

    Cropped away some of the non-vital parts (top/bottom black bars, etc.), too:
