Ivy Shot by me for Art Nude Angels

This was my first ever nude art shoot 2 years back.

She was a bard college student- upstate ny.

Couldn't wait to shoot inside the chapel on campus. She was an ok person.

We only met once, so it's hard to tell.

Still, when I approched the nude journal on campus about publishing her, she flipped out as if I had done something wrong by not consulting her.

Perhaps I should've.

Depends on what the original arrangement/contract was between the two of you, was money involved etc.

 

1- If she signed a model release AND if she was compensated (paid) for the shoot, then she has no cause for complaint.
2- If she was attending college where you wanted to publish the photos it might have been considerate of you to ask her permission. But rule No. 1 still applies.

 

Unless you had explicit permission to publish, she should be consulted.

 

this was the situation.

She was the one who mentioned the school journal.

I thought I was taking the initiative, and told her afterward.

 

she is not bad looking at all. publish away!
