    She was one of the contestants on the show "American Idiot", which is kind of like Star Search, but without Ed McMahon. The basic idea of the show is that it's a big nationally televised Karaoke contest. Each region of America selects its own Karaoke Champion, and send them to Neverland Ranch where they compete in front of judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Fat Black Dude. Every week, the viewing audience phones in ($12 per call) to vote for their favorite Karaoke Champion. A day later, the Karaoke Champion receiving the lowest number of votes is removed from the competition, and punished for her failure by public disembowelment. The defeated Karaoke Champion's home region is disgraced, and is required to pay a ransom to bring her steaming corpse home so that it can be buried in an unmarked grave.

    Jessica was defeated on this week's episode of American Idiot. There will be a private service. In lieu of flowers, you can send a donation to the American Heart Foundation on behalf of Jessica's family.
