  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Not bad Silly Rabbit, but in the future I suggest you wait until either the DVD sceener or DVD retail comes out before making GIFS of a particular scene from a flick. The detail quality is so much greater with a DVD and you'll get more out of your work as a reward. Nice post regardless! Thanks Silly Rabbit!

    I actually have a screaner of this movie that is pretty good quality, not as good as dvd of course but still a lot better than most bootlegs.

    Cool beans. Yea I grabbed fairly lousy quality clip and couldn't resist making a gif. Hopefully the dvd includes even more of KateB.

    EDIT: The major pain was enhancing the lighting via a photo editor, as it was a dark scene. Hopefully in the future I can come across an easier wasy of doing this.

    The best way to lighten video is with the program "VirtualDub". It works great for editing video overall. I use it to edit all my GIFS. You can download it for free here. http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/
