Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    The reasons for why we have locked the thread have been made clear. The conversation in that thread was veering off topic. It's done. The only way that thread gets reopened is if there's new content. If you don't like it, then leave.

    It looks like it was taken down, which is too bad. I've noticed that several leaked threads have been deleted over the years, including older ones like Rachel Nichols or newer ones like Madison Reed. My guess is that the forum received dmca requests from the celebrities' lawyers and cayne had no choice but to take the content down. The fact that links to the forum get posted everywhere when something gets leaked certainly doesn't help.

    Do they show credentials instantly with the notices? I probably wouldn't buy it as real at first, if it were me.

    Also, possibly better question: Has there ever been a message sent like that requesting you not allow anything to be posted during the rumour stage? Like, if Anne Hathaway - for example - heard there were private images of her but none had been put online yet, could she still send lawyers to block them being posted here at least before anyone had seen them?

    I don't really get that info. It is handled over our heads. These notices I assume go to the site owner or to the hosting service.
    If the people requesting removal know what they are doing they would certainly be sending the same requests to the pic/vid hosting sites, so we would end up with dead links anyway.

    That's a very good question. It appears to have been hard deleted, but we don't hard delete anything unless it's child porn. Very curious.

    EDIT: Found them. I'll find out why they were removed.

    To be fair, the perv in me that looks at this stuff wishes it didn't but the more sensible part of me completely understands why and feels fine knowing it happens, due to the "violation of privacy" aspect.

    Leaks are "illegally stolen images and videos intended for private use" so I can see why they might, even if it's a clothed leak.
