It seems that there is some confusion as to the value and/or the purpose of the requirement that fullsized caps (that is caps that match the stated resolution of the video(s) posted) be included in every post.

The primary reason for this rule is to help us (the Mods) and you (the downloaders) to determine whether or not videos posted as HD are in fact HD, or if they are merely SD videos that have been 're-sized' (i.e. up-converted), without having to download them first.

The secondary reason is to provide potential downloaders with a general idea of what to expect in terms of visual quality prior to downloading. Due to the various formats of HD content (Blu-ray, Web-DL, HDTV, WebRips etc.) available today, and the wildly varying quality inherent in the different formats, simply stating the resolution and file size is no longer an adequate or reliable indication of a videos quality.

As a general rule, these issues don't exist with SD content, so this requirement is waived, but if you do choose to post individual caps they must match the stated resolution of the video(s) posted. Resizing SD caps to HD resolutions serves no legitimate purpose, and may be perceived as an attempt to defraud.
