Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Enhacing a photo is not a simple enlargement, which usually ends in a pixelated image. By enhancing we seek to improve not only the resolution but also its tone, light, color, etc. without losing the quality.

Artificial Intelligence goes further, with its freaking algorithms you can take a LQ pic and give it a new life.

Some examples (not good ones, I suck)

Jennifer Aniston - Vanity Fair 2000 (credits to nurv for the scan)
    [IMG] [IMG]

Mary Elizabeth Winstead - GQ 2007
    [IMG] [IMG]

Emma Watson - Elle von Unwerth 2009 outtake
    [IMG] [IMG]

    Jennifer Connelly

Anyone is free to contribute, but here are some rules:

    - Post the original photo next to the edit (to appreciate the difference).
    - Include the name of the celebrity and, if posible, the source (a photoshoot, movie, event...).
    - Do not post underage content.
    - Use our approved hosts

Im using gim-ml a python based machine learning algorithm plug in for gimp.

i dont use it for resizing as much as deep matting and denoising or face parsing

Yes, you can use Gimp 2.10 or Photoshoop, there are some apps but I haven't tried any.
And there are several sites, you can get pretty decent results, the problem is that most of them have a limited use.

    @kah77
    holy crap TOO MUCH
take your edit and use it as an overlay of the original @ about 33-37% opacity. That will allow you to adjust your edit to blend over the original and still smooth things out a bit. slide thru your edit layer opacity to find the best look. Keep in mind the original you used has been screwed with so much it's almost a cartoon before you touch it.

No it isn't just increased brightness. What we're trying to do is remove the stupid filters studio used. They intentionally degrade or mis-color Scenes to convey a particular emotion to the audience. these days it's usually just an attempt to keep us, the internet celebrity women nudity hunters posting their naked ass for the next 20 years.

I agree, and it's a shame she often "falls victim" to bad photography. But fortunately, now we can do something about that.
