Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    He didn't say he voted for Sig #1. he just said he narrowed it down from 4 sigs to 1 sig. If we can't ever say stuff like that then what's the point of even having comments in this thread? Just to say "voted"?

    I like discussion... And I think it's ok to tell what you voted for, just not in this thread. It can influence people who have yet to vote.

    A cool system would be that you can only see the replies to this thread after you voted, but that would require some coding ;).

    Oh and post like "Voted" are ok too, as they bump the thread, we'll get more votes when it's bumped.

    To be honest i can't see anyone trying to steer votes. I men it's week 12 now and the spirit of the SOTW has been superb since day one. I think we're all more interested in the work than the winner.

    When i vote i don't say who i voted for, not even when voting is closed. If someone wants to say who they voted for they should in deed say it after voting is closed.

    it's simple,

    1. don't say who you voted for until voting is closed.
    2. discuss things in the discussion thread.

    it's when people argue or dismiss these rules that it gets less fun. same as the forum rules, it keeps things running smoothly.
