    So many chicks run out and get STUPID tramp stamps on their lower back that just look stupid, totally ruin it, but chicks who get a big piece on their arms? That is hot! Both my arms are covered, I was wondering though, are you getting it colored in? It looks cool as a line drawing but it also looks like it might be waiting for the color?
    If this is your first tattoo, and you are sweating going back for the color, the color does not hurt nearly as much as the lines.
    I like the tattoo! Any significance, or was it just a pretty pic?

    Haha, I dunno.. I think a smurf muff might be kinda of cool for a few days. :p

    Thanks, about the ink. :) It probably has 2 more sessions before it will be done. First the black and grey shading will go in, and then the color. If you see the tattoo from the front the great blue heron is holding a snake in his mouth, which will probably have it's own session. It's going to be almost.. stipled with color so that it looks scaley.

    I totally agree! I work in a tattoo shop, so I've definitely seen my fair share of bad tattoo ideas, lol. :p I do plan on getting my new tat shaded and colored in asap! The lines weren't too bad until towards the end when my pain tolerance was wearing down and they were running up into my armpit.:???: I can't wait to see what it looks like when i'm finished, though!
    I got my first tat when I was 19. It covers most of the back of my neck, but usually stays hidden by my hair.
    Thanks!!! <3 The great blue heron has always been a sort of special bird between my dad and I. He's the only of my immediate family I have left here in Georgia, and, now that I am planning to move out of state, I am going to miss him a lot. I guess I just got it to remind me of my dad and to stay strong. :)

    The tatt sounds like it's gonna look amazing. Sort of a chinese theme to it with the heron and the snake, or just a tribute to 2 kung-fu forms? ;) Either way, it looks good so far, and I can't wait to see it finished. Should be some epic ink when it's done.
