I watched Fleabag! ...finally. To be honest, I thought it was to be a waste of time


It's fucking great but so short! That's not fair, I watched it in a couple days and now I want more.

 

As far as im concerned if they are happy who cares about age.

 

I agree its the person, not the age (within reason) I've been on dates with a 60-year-old guy who was more fun, had more Joie de vivre,
then some self-obsessed 20 something pretty boys who spend the entire date talking about themselves and how much they earned.

(That's why I always try to sit on a bus), in Modern Television "Fleabag" is in format nearer to something that went out
in the 1960s, 12 episodes in total (average UK comedy now 8-12 episodes the US much more) first series of 6 in 2016
and that was meant to be it and until this year the final 6.

I loved it, it wasn't the same as everything else and shows how PWB has grown since her previous comedy series for
Channel 4 "Crashing", PWB has said this is the final Fleabag its gone from Play/book/TV and farewell stage performances.

She's said that's all Flea has to tell, she hinted the only way she'd do more is ten years down the line.

Maybe it's best to leave them wanting more, than some comedies that out of 12 episodes has 4 good episodes and the other weak
or going over old ground on repeat mode.

But maybe some good Fleabag news?

I love this from "Variety" on how Jodie Comer met Phoebe Waller Bridge that lead her to be cast in "Killing Eve".
It was a chance meeting at another ceremony, the BAFTAs, that led to Waller-Bridge casting Comer on “Killing Eve.”
At the 2017 event, Comer — a tremendous fan of “Fleabag” — and Waller-Bridge partied hard.

Their antics got a bit out of hand, “We were both really drunk, until silly o’clock in the morning, and kind of forgot about it,”
Comer recalls. “Then months later I got the ‘Killing Eve’ audition.
You know when you get the fear when you can’t remember from a hangover, and you’re like, ‘Oh, God, was I doing an embarrassing dance?
Did I do something cringey?’ I panicked, but we spoke on the phone, and she was like, ‘We were in the same boat. It’s all good.’”

Sept 27th: Season 3 of “Killing Eve,” starts production next week.

So, i'm responding to the post about the "tall bird" shouting…

I have had similar (though, not implying equal experiances), as i have grown a beard for some 28 years...back in the early days...Before the fucking hipsters... i was a standout, and i got a lot of shouts, mainly "skäggapa", which translates to "bearded monkey"....and while i realized it was meant as an insult, i never quite got the point.
I was always somewhat baffled…
"Yes, i'm bearded, and...?"

I've always been curious about the emotional payoff, what would make someone scream something like that…?

I'm not bitter here, just wondering about the psychology behind it...?

Hi (finally) from Dublin, every thing went well till we got to the air b'n'b & there was a mix up with the dates between the London and Dublin offices they thought the 28th, London the 29th.

I was going to get a hotel for the night, but someone from the office is putting me up & they have a Cat!

Going out for a pint or two and a curry.

 

I haven't had a good curry in ages, bit jealous

 

Would love to have a proper pint at an irish pub and listen too some irish songs.

 

Watch out for those "Dublin" girls
