True, some films are made to be seen on the big screen, "1917", "Dunkirk" and "The Great Escape" are three such films.

 

1917 was incredible, I'm lost for words.
All I'd say is see it and see it on the big screen.

I'm seriously thinking of seeing Daisy on the Big Screen one last time, (it will be my third screening).

London is Sunny, cold & 2c (my friend from Canada laughs when I describe 2c as cold).
Off to get hair done, bring on the pampering.

Damn "Underwater" isn't released in the UK until Feb 3rd.

Saw it in IMAX too, was amazing (even without that, it was amazing. It's why I can't look at another guy as Joker, it's just too perfect a performance in The Dark Knight).

 

There's a song from 1950s (I think) I heard it on Mrs. Maisel called "I enjoy being a girl", this is why I enjoy being a girl.

That lasted until I saw her on stage a year later in 2008 in the Liza Minelli role in "Cabaret".
She looked the part and could sing, but she was completely wooden, no passion.

Ok, she's still hot, as long as you don't want to act on stage.

A few years before that I saw a British Soap Actor called Amy Nuttal, who I had never looked twice at
when she was on TV, then i saw her in the same role on stage and was so FUCKING HOT!!!


Here's Amy, all I could find of Michelle was the audio, perhaps no one got away with getting her on their phone.

 

The stage isn't for everyone, that's why many an actor consider it the greatest challenge and also if they get good reviews, as big an honor as they could get. Doing it live, no second takes, no editing, no rewind, just go out there on your own. It takes guts and I've always appreciated the skills of those who can do it well.

Although I was always under an impression that over there it's much more of a rite of passage and almost a requirement coming up as an actor to perform on stage, one reason you're seen as the kings and queens of the acting profession(I remember not too long ago when U.S born actors were almost shut out of awards nominations one year lol). Cause if you thrive on stage, you can thrive in any situation.
