Not for nothing, but most of the users are probably her age and were also children during the Harry Potter years. I wanted to fuck Emma Watson when she was a minor.... I guess this is what I missed by not watching a single Harry Potter movie. Are they any good, or just something that was really great for kids/tweens? Honestly asking, and I don't mean to start a war here. If a mod wants to move or delete this, that's fine.

 

The books are excellent, the movies are just okay. Bonnie Wright's character in the movies was sort of butchered though.

 

Depends on whether you read the books or not. If you haven't, then the movies are pretty good popcorn movies, if you did then you might be disappointed in some of them. Bonnie Wright in particular was singled out for poor performance because her book character was funny, fiery and interesting while the movie portrayal of the character was the complete opposite.

My daughter dragged me to them. The first couple are lame kiddie films, but they got much more sophisticated and the effects got much more professional as the series progressed. Each of the later films is a good watch. The people who have read all the books must have a leg up, because I sometimes found myself a little lost, thinking "now, who is this character again?", but I could still follow the story.

 

The first 3 movies are great and so is the Deathly Hallows pt. 1and 2. I loved Goblet Of Fire (4th book) when the movie came out watched it again awhile ago and hated it it went to fast and I hated the portrayal of Barty Crouch Jr. Why the fuck did they say you know what I don't mind the obsessive tounge coming out of the mouth it annoyed the shit out of me. I hated Order Of The Phoenix it's my favorite book but my least favorite movie they cut so much out of it plus the cut the ending that was in book for some stupid reason at least they got a great actress to play Umbitch. Half Blood Prince was alright I wish they did more pensive scenes though.
