  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Can't connect to this forum

    I'm having problems connecting to this forum. Unless I use a proxy browser, forum pages won't load. This has been a problem for me for over a month. I've checked my hosts file and firewall and they don't seem to be blocking the site. My main browser is Firefox and I've already tried Opera but I still receive the same result.
    I would've PMed a mod but I can't do that while I'm behind a proxy, so I'm sorry if I posted in the wrong section.

    Yes, the company that hosts Phun was attacked by a hacker, who penetrated all or most of their servers. They had to shut down their service. It took until today for Cayne to find a new hoster, and get the forum up and running. We lost approx 3 days worth of content, but that's not too bad considering what happened.

    No, but the recovery of the forum could only be done from October 13th and back. Anything posted after that date, up to the crash, was lost.

    Its the opposite for me. For two years I haven't been able to connect to Phun unless I use a proxy. Tried it today without using a proxy and I'm able to.
