    While it may not be fatal to her, she can still infect people who may be at risk (like the aformentioned age bracket). Quarantine is happening now so it doesn't spread and gets to people who are at risk.

    Plenty of people are exaggerating this quarantine and making it sound like "lol it's not the apocalypse stop overreacting" because they aren't at risk of dying from the disease. And they are missing the point. Ignoring the quarantine will only make it go longer because it continues to spread.

    Look at Taiwan. They had several cases and immediately went into full on quarantine overdrive. And now they are basically Covid-19 free. If the Taiwanese people had the same dismissive mindset, they'd still be under quarantine now.
