    I had that problem with Uploaded a long time ago. Contacted support, got no help so I let the account go.

    But I went and it looked like I could use a Visa to renew mine. I only went to where you enter the CC number though. What happens for you, is there an error message?

    I could see them not putting it through since they are Russian based. You might be right.

    Can we mandate some new file hosts? Keep2Share is absolutely throttling its 'Free' tier and I'm honestly not a fan of, and get dial-up flashbacks with, filehosts that take hours to download when there are filehosts out there that are quick and easy and don't require users to pay for them

    The rules we have, have proven their worth over the years.Like i said, feel free to use Mega as an additional host.

    The mods will discuss if Mega is an option for a mandatory host, but not atm.

    From what I remember, Mega is really DMCA punishing. I remember getting banned myself for uploading porn pretty quickly.

    Surely there are more porn friendly hosts, that are good for the free user and aren't as punishing?

    It's just...K2S, if you don't have an account, it can take 4-6 hours to download a file. If you do have a free account, it can take about 3-4 hours. Obviously they're following the YouTube model of throttling their regular service to get you to pay for their premium model

    Hopefully there's not an another / different Mega out there ;)

    The imagehosts have never been a problem, and I don't think the mandatory filehosts have changed too much since back when I was still a Red.

    The possible difference is that we lost a couple of 100% free, fast filehosts in the mandatory slot (Solidfiles and maybe one other) when they went defunct, and were not replaced by something comparable.

    Just means that if we want that as an option for folks (Mega is the closest to that currently, and has been fairly stable since the revamp), you'll have to have it as the optional host, not the Mandatory one.

    I'll probably still use Mediafire (RIP, Zippyshare) as an optional host along with k2s or DF, as download data has shown I get about 5-6x the number of downloads off the faster, free hosting pretty consistently. The users have spoken, lol

    Gofile and all the rest used over at places I won't mention here have either had performance or DMCA issues, or both, convenient as they may be when they're actually working. So for now, as Tai mentioned, it's probably best to steer that ship a little more slowly regarding any changes :)

    Yeah K2S free speed is really slow lately. I usually look for mirrors like Mega or Mediafire when available because downloading from K2S can take forever without premium.
