Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     That depends entirely on what constitutes "best." For the unpaid user, depositfiles is terrible: Long waits in between downloads, and slow speeds.

    The only one I've seen left that has good speeds is Mediafire.
    Aside from the annoying popups, it doesnt have a wait time and downloads are fast.
    Oron seems to throttle downloads to be very slow, they start out at 300 to 500KB then dive to as slow as 20KB sometimes.

    I have just downloaded Alcatraz & Being Human (US) on another forum using rapidshare as a free user.It was less than 25mins for both files to be DL.Rapidshare used to be really shit but it has been gr8 for me the last few months.

    SOPA is set to be reformulated in February. PIPA will be revisited with possible amendments in the coming weeks. Case in point, all is still open and possible — nothing is dead, pulled, or cancelled. If that wasn’t enough to keep us on our toes, a new, similar bill has surfaced.

    The gist of the recent move by the FEDS is such: Chrid Dodd, former senator of MASS recently took over as the Chairman CEO of the Motion Picture Association of America. He went to Obama, who owes him a lot, who went to his AG, who shut it all down fast. There is no need for "new" legislation to be passed, DMCA covers posting of copyrighted material.

    The ghastly stores of mega-wealth of megaupload bring the story to the forefront. No longer is it about some guys posting and getting $0.50 per 1000 downloads, and other guys dlg and fapping to it. The story is somebody making money from the back of someone creating content. Chris Dodd was on TV when the shit hit the fan telling stories about $150,000 camera light and sound guys being put out of work in hollywood because I just jacked to Three Oiled Lesbos. The hosting companies charge $X and are making money. Some forums, no PHUN, are actually charging nitwits to belong to a forum to get VIP status.

    I say let the mods decide which 3-5 hosts are acceptable on PHUN. Virtually everything posted will be a repost, as the entire archive is down the drain on filesonic. And everybody stop trying to fucking make money off the backs of your friends at PHUN.
