  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    the owner, JayHoo, hasn`t been on here for quite a while now. maybe it`s just temporarily - hopefully he didn`t close his host, but i see no way to find out.

    Even if Imagehaven is not closed and get back, most of the older pics uploaded on it were already dead either way. I sometimes check older threads from 2-3 years ago and almost all pics on Imagehaven were gone while pics uploaded on Imagevenue, Imagebam and Sharenxs are still working. Sucks big time, archive is very important for me. Do not trust any image host other than those three.
