  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Why he's using a link shortener for a funny video is very suspicious, especially without a screencap or image of the video. I think this is the second time he's done this (can't remember if it was the same user or not).

    a) we once allowed to have a site owned by the respective member as a link in the respective sig

    b) what are we supposed to do against "stealing" pics and posting them elsewhere? post a comment, send him a pm... let him know that he´s "caught".

    He didn't, see my original post in this thread (post no 30701). As far as stealing the pics goes, that's not the issue, we all do it. The issue is he steals them from here, doesn't even hit the thanks button most of the time, hosts them on his site and tags them and then his sig advertises that fact and he gets traffic from Phun. Hell, why doesn't Phun go the full hog and host his site as well. It's bad manners at best. He should at least not be allowed to advertise it in his sig, it's spam. I'm not gonna say any more on it, but I think it sucks big time.

    try using only approved image hosts and make sure that...

    All video clips posted must have the required file info posted with them. It can either be in the thumbnail or screen capture or written within the body of the post. Please be sure to list file size, type, time, resolution and if necessary password with all video clips.

    A thumbnail image of the entire clip. Screen captures would be acceptable, but not preferred.

    Failure to do so will get your post deleted.
