Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Do the mods want "Adds" to be put into thread titles or is it just whatever we want to do?

    I'm just wondering cause it just seems like a pain for the mods.

    I can say that all the Mods are getting tired of the constant and relentless requests for "Adds" in thread titles, but we are still willing to do it if you ask for it.

    Some of us were wondering if putting "Adds" in the title got someones attention or if a bump was enough.

    It's not like we also place a date next to "Adds"

    I figured it would get kind of annoying after awhile.

    If I see a thread that I liked get bumped I always check it out regardless if adds has been added to the title or not. :2cent:

    I think next it's going to be (ADDS) + (More ADDS) and so on. ;)

    I've been doing it because I thought that was expected. Maybe if we just do it for HQ Adds in LQ/MQ/tagged posts or something? That should cut it down a lot.

    You are doing exactly what has been our SOP, so please do not feel like I was attacking you personally, you are not the only one who ask for adds.

    I'd gamble that the increased traffic because of the new file hosts has contributed to our overall frustration and increased work load.

    What does C/D/W mean?

    Also, I think it's possible to tweak the board from the admin control panel to make it possible for the OP to be able to edit their own thread's title. Then the mods don't have to add ADDS every time.

    At this point the OP has a certain amount of time immediately after creating the thread to make changes, but nothing after that. I'm not sure what the time limit is, but I believe 2-5 minutes.

    That length should be set to indefinite, or whatever the allowed time to bump with adds is. What is it, a month or something like that?

    Additionally,

    A lot of times the adds are not made by the OP, so a user making "ADDS" would have to PM the OP and if the OP isn't available or has no interest in complying (for whatever reason) it's going to fall to the Mods anyway.
