  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    i might understand a certain level of ... discomfort. but - no offense, nothing personal, just in general - input is appreciated, but "whining" doesn´t improve things.
    a decision by the staff here isn´t carved in stone but won´t be changed within minutes or on occasion.
    you may have noticed (or not) that
    - there have been "thread whoring" in times of rapidshare, too
    - things are improving due to certain added obstacles

    be assured that we are neither completely happy how things are going - nor that we stopped discussing ways to make things even more better.

    a re-ban of sharingmatrix is not on our agenda.
