    ... where the original thread still has working Rapidshare links? I thought the usual protocol in such a case is the repost thread should either be merged to the original thread or be trashed?

    A lesser issue is that a long time member like the reposter should know to search first anyways to avoid reposts... common sense should be a constant practice, rather than a irregular habit.

    Just my 2.3 cents.

    except it's a slightly longer clip so it's not the same exact file as the original RS link.

    I think the issue here is that the original thread was named "Amy Reids FIRST ever porn scene". I don't think it would have come up in a search for "Amy Reid".

    My thread was titled "Amy Reid's" and it didn't come up either.

    Not sure, maybe the mod who trashed it might answer if he sees the post. Although it containing pics of a 14 year old in a bikini might be the reason.

    Trashed relevant threads, banned, he's had warnings for other offences including reposting.

    The rule on under 16's refers to celebs/porn forums not general. The pictures included in my post were carried in most newspapers and televised on most news stations.

    The purpose of the pictures was to highlight the difference in height between the girl in question and her peers. How anyone could sexualise them I cannot understand.

    I respectfully ask for the thread to be restored on the principle that while this is an adult board, general forum is a place were you can discuss 'news' stories. Surely we can separate pictures of a 7 foot girl who has garnered world news attention from pornography?

    If you read my post, you'd see that I didn't specify that was the reason. I'm not a mindreader and as I stated, the mod who trashed the thread may read your post and answer it. I'm not going to reverse a decision without either consulting him or knowing the reason.
