Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Should be fine, just make sure to credit the previous post by mentioning it in your thread and specifying that yours is different in quality, that way it will avoid people pointing it out as a repost.

    I don't presume to speak for the mods, so they'll make the judgment call when they can.

    But to save them the trouble and you from time, you should check again... the original thread you referenced above (http://forum.phun.org/showthread.php?t=440933), the Rapidshare links are still working. So, the reasonably proper thing to do would be to reply post your version of that scene in that thread.

    Or, you can wait to hear from a mod to read this... up to you.
