    Just idle curiosity - we're advised to keep Sig file sizes down, and that 100KB would be ideal (or is it a maximum?), so how come .gif Sig file sizes up to 1.5MB are allowed? Servers don't care whether a file is a .jpg or a .gif, but file size does indeed matter, so why do we have two quite inconsistent standards?

    I requested the low file size because the load times were taking so long and I was hoping to alleviate some of the congestion/slowness.

    .gif sigs are rare, and that number was establish long ago by Azz and/or Cayne.
