    Deleted, closed & warned

    FS is/as been down, and I currently have no way of verify if the FS links are still good.

    The SD version is OK. The original HD version should remain, especially if the links are still good, and the repost should be trashed & the user warned, but until I can verify the links, I'll have to wait this one out. Maybe another Mod can get a better result, otherwise, we'll have to wait until FS is working properly again.

    Makes me wonder, why users are still posting with FS, when they appear to be down. Unless of course it's just down for me.

    FYI, I've tried to get in touch with FS tech support. Originally, I thought it was just me that was having trouble accessing FS. The outages seem to only affect users from the USA - and seems to only be from approximately 1pm-7pm ET for the past three days (since Jan-1-2011 - coincidence? or did they screw something up with an upgrade / maintenance / etc.?). Anyhow, FS is working again - it came back on almost EXACTLY at 7pm ET - we'll see how long it stays up... I'll let you guys know if I ever get a response from FS support. I did find some web posts that they claim there is no problem on their end... Want to buy a bridge? Or some really cherry swamp land? ;)

    My money is on someone "fat fingering" some IP addresses and / or accidentally blocking a bunch of IP addresses in their "blocking security" / "brute force abuse" firewall and/or blocking a network node IP...
