Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    i only report this for my own curiosity is this allowed in that section. I have only seen files that you actually can download from an filehost. Sure with a little extra work you can download from youtube also but is it allowed?

    As you've probably noticed, YouTube is allowed on phun.org - see the Funny Videos section - and it is not specifically barred in the Celeb Movie Forum, so I guess it's OK. Of course, if it started becoming a regular feature there, especially if it became an issue, no doubt some new rule(s) might be needed! ;)
