  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Why have I asked for reasons on 4 or 5 "issues" I am having... I now get E-mails about this thread, but never saw any answers to my questions. What gives?!

    (Also, signed-in to forum, & search for "New posts" told me there were none... Even though I can see on the front page SEVERAL made since I visited last, & my E-mail is full of reply-notifications.)

    Question about bumping: Do not resurrect (bump) threads which are older than 2 weeks if you don't have any new content.

    Any restrictions on bumping your own post before the two week limit? I mean, can I bump my own post everyday for two weeks (or maybe just one week, because I don't want to be too cheesy) to make sure it remains on the 1st page? (Note: no new content, just a :tup: or a "hell yeah")

    It's my opinion that people will either take an interest in your posts or they won't. Bumping your threads daily for a week may get you a few more views, but so what? If you historically post content that a member appreciates it's just as likely they'll seek out any posts of yours they may have missed or overlooked, with the added benefit you won't look like a post pimp. ;)

    I don't see a problem with "bumping" & the like. (Got an "infraction" about it.)

    If someone joins today, every post is new to them. If they decide to search for a favorite/person or topic, what is wrong with them adding pics/vids, posting replies, etc.? Nothing; That's what.
