    She passed away today at the age of 29 after she was admitted to a hospital in New Orleans yesterday for a " serious emergency medical event".

    So sad. I wonder if all the "Gia's life is so wonderful!" and "Gia has finally found true love with her Prince Charming!" stories that she was being pushed into and having to keep up a false public appearance just finally overwhelmed her.
