Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     I'm with the "Creative Forum" ... maybe not the coolest of names but it resembles the others like "Models Forum" etc...
    plus it's straight forward and recognizable for new creative phunners to find their way.

    Bottom line: This forum is for everybody and anybody. You can post what you like as long as you don't lower the experience of the forum for others. If you keep this ground rule in mind, you should have no problem at all :)

    Some nice "creative" ideas there, CylnZ! But the main problem appears to lie in the "graphics" area, and once that has been sorted out and organised to everyone's satisfaction, the other smaller elements may need no further action for the moment!

    I agree with Cayne here, I think when all comments are chequed and counted a few polls on names and the structure of the forum should be employed to help with the process. I also take from Cayne's comments that it is ok to start a thread for your work if you wish.

    Is this not what sparked the debate? If so why fix what ain't broken.

    Just thought I'd try and be helpful in any thread sorting/grouping process that's attempted. This afternoon I did a quick and dirty sift through the Creative Backyard threads, and came up with the following - it might help as a starting point! If anyone objects to my categories and groupings, don't hesitate to say so!

    The order within the groupings is not significant - it's just the order as I came across the threads as I went down the pages.     ... apparently completely forgotten to move over to the CB (I forgot also).

    Of course would create a major issue with some since it's overlapping with other gif-threads so I'm not gonna press it in unless some feel it should.

    In fact the more i look over the list the less relevance i see in it. Why dissect creativity and why call half the stuff webfinds when they arent?

    This is not a proposal to split the forum, Jamms! There was some talk about grouping/merging some threads, and I'm trying to be helpful! With regard to your GIFs thread, I couldn't tell, but if you say they're home-grown that's good enough for me! I've edited my list. :D

    This isn't a judgement call, pm! It's simply a statement of fact - that the phunner-generated material is far outnumbered by external material. That's all! :D

    I'll ponder over that gif thread for a bit ... maybe I'll ask a mod to delete it ... maybe have it moved and I start posting in it again.
    Anyhow it's not a big deal to me and I don't care for "thread starting" reputation and stuff.
    And the "who's first" thing ... well I quit that when I left prep school. ;)

    just to make some things "clear" - from my point of view.

    a) "webfinds" (i.e. works by non-phun-members on other sites) are not naturally better or worse than phunner´s own creations, they are just naturally not phunner´s own creations - and the idea for this subforum was to acknowledge exactly those.
    they are outstanding - and presenting them in such a prominent place makes phun (even more...) outstanding.

    b) names are probably not that important (as usual - content matters), but Creative Forum is fine for me. by phunners for phunners... ;)
