.......I am mostly looking very forward to walking away from my job! Having never not worked before, I figure it will take a while to get use to it and get comfortable with it......but I have no doubts I will adjust quite nicely! :wink:

 

And you have never spent time on a Florida beach in the summer time either, have you?

 

I've been working since I was 11 years old. my first job was stocking shelves at the Co-op.

heh, I remember stocking potato chips. I had my left hand in the bottom of the chip box there. my finger was in the hole in the bottom of the box. I emptied the box and looked into it to find the next bag of chips. I saw this finger in the bottom of the box, I really jumped!

I thought holy fuck a finger, then it moved then realized it was mine.

 

So you started drinking at an early age then, right?

Yeah, cruise on down to the calcium white beaches of Isla Morada and see if you dont burn. The reflection off the sand will fry a chicken.

I tan even in the Winter.

the sun shines off the snow and reflects back on ya. you get a wicked tan then!

 

That may explain my "chicken skin!"

 

In Florida, even black folks can get sun burned.....

 

I would love to check out Florida one day.

@thore, heh, fall asleep out on a pool tube in the surf in the keys in july. That'll fuck you up something big time. One time I saw a girl do that. Severely burned her feet from the water reflection. They had to evac her for burns.

 

I worked as a lifeguard at an inland large swimming pool for several years and initially spent from 8 in the morning through the rest of the day in the sun, but would still get sun burned if I went to the beach for the day and did not use sun screen. Of course, way back then, the most potent sun screen you could get was 4 SPF...
