Going on my 5th straight work night tonight. I'm zonked. Maybe I can sneak into a corner and sleep. Then I'd get caught and fired, though, so maybe that's not a good idea.

Just before the summer holidays there i worked 34 out of 35 days. I was a fucking wreck by the end of it and will not be doing it again.

one of my lil Brothers was acting like a little bitch lately.

20 years old, trying to finish school. in the time I've been here he has only cleaned up like once. he has his girlfriend staying here too. been telling them they have to fucking pull their own weight around here.

try and wake them up for school and they just fucking fall back asleep, have to wake them up like 3 fucking times.

woke them up today at noon as there was some work in town, a Ship came in to bring some dry goods off for the year. there are a few days of work to offload it all. told them to fucking wake up so they could go down and work there. he said he was stiff and tired as their school was out on a boat ride to go fishing yesterday.

got in an argument with him, lil fucker was trying to act tough in front of his girlfriend, started yelling at me then pushed me. I pushed him back and told him to fucking grow up and get a fucking job. he tried to lunge at me and tackle me.

I just went to the side and pushed him to the floor, he landed on his laundry. told him to fucking smarten up and grow up. tried punching me and I pushed him away and shoved him to the bed. shoulder popped out and I put it back in. he was acting like a little fucking kid, other younger brother came between us and now they went out.

fucking tiring dealing with that lil shit at times. Family eh, tough at times.

 

rough schedule. I've worked 10 - 12 hour days for maybe 3 weeks in a row tops. can't do much but work, do the things you have to and sleep.

 

It's a menial manual labour job. Imagine lifting 120kilo weights every two minutes in sauna like heat for nine hours in a dirty environment and you get the idea of how shit the job is.

I only did it because the doubled our wages for that month.

 

I mean no disrespect but it sounds like he's behaving like a petulant little shit. Maybe time to give him an open handed slap in front of his woman to shake him up. Slaps work better than punches, they humiliate without causing injury.
