Thanks. I find it interesting phunner's geography. I am 60 years old and never lived more than 4 miles from where I was born, with the exception of 10 months when the distance was about 10 miles.......

Well, I am no longer "in between." The Oxycodone is most definitely beginning to kick in. :shock:

Has two hours of oral surgery about 6 hours ago....I am doing OK, but expect some throbbing pain for the next few days. I think the iron steed will be parked for a bit. :wink:

 

Does that include vacation traveling too?

No, just my main residence. I have been most places on the eastern half of the continental USA.

 

I've never been over to the US yet.
Hopefully I'll visit on vacation at some point. I'm not sure where I should go though.

There is a very wide variety of topography from mountains to swamps and deserts to beaches. Your interests and the time of the year should help you to narrow it down a bit.

 

I always liked basketball and since Panathinaikos is imo the best team in Europe the last 10-15 years I always supported them. So when I was in Greece it seemed kind of natural to dislike the other guys.

Plus they always seemed too arrogant for no good reason when I would talk to them, so that helped too.

They are pretty ignorant about basketball...so it was only natural not to be able to make a normal conversation with them...
Till 1997 they were hidding cause they hadnt won a championship on football for 10 years...but that year everything changed...they got a new owner...who ''bought'' if you know what i mean the last 11 championships and thus making them strong...and stupid at the same time!
On basketball you know the story of the last decade or so
Nobody likes Olympiakos...except of their own!
