    My dad quit just like that, from one minute to the other. My mother took a little longer. She kept hiding cigarettes and smoke them in secret when my father wasn't home. :lol:
    She managed to stop eventually, though. I guess I just have to try and test my will power.

    Another thing that helped me was to keep a pack with me that was unopened all the time. Sounds crazy I know but the thought of "okay, if I break down at least I've got some with and don't have to go buy any" helped me to resist the urge.

    I did say "if a pack costs 10 guilders i'm gonna quite" Then a pack became 4,5 euro (is 10 guilders) so i did smoke it till it was empty and haven't smoked since.
