Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     The host site get paid every time that window is opened. That is why Phun is doing it, to get revenue to help pay for the site.

    the pic host gets a tiny fee each time that window pops up on someones computer. with all the volume it adds up.

    the website that is advertising does it because it is a very cheap way to get traffic to their site. If only a small percentage of people who get the pop up spend money with them they are very happy.

    Magge, do you use FireFox? If so, they make an add on that can block specific sites and you will not have that problem.....that is what LiquidVapors was saying the other night.....I have not looked into it yet, but will soon probably.
