    what difference does it make? if you can't drive with one hand you shouldn't have gotten a license in the first place.. and talking on the phone which is the real danger will still be allowed..

    Well... I presume not, especially with that bomb in Dublin. :|

    Well, I've experienced the solution in two ways, one was more severe than the other.

    If it's a light problem, the doctor (or nurse) might drip a special solution into your ears and have you lay on your side for a few minutes. Then they use that squishy ball suction thingy (I forget exactly what it's called...) and a small medical scraper to get the stuff out.

    If it's a semi-big problem (from what you say, sounds like it is), they'll likely use a water pump. What they do is insert a tiny tube into your ear canal. The tube is connected to a relatively powerful water pump where they'll flush out the earwax with warm water. It actually feels AWESOME when that earwax popsout (expect it to be the size of your thumb).

    A.Tab mentioned a vacuum method... don't know anything about that.
