It has been in the mid 90's here and Florida is always humid. I don't know how we survived before home AC. I was 12 before we got it and I remember having to sleep in short, no top sheet, fans, and still having to move to different spots on the bed to get out of the damp (sweat) spots. I run the shit out of my AC and pay hefty utility bills for it too.

We never had AC when I was growing up, and Chicago got plenty hot in the summer. We had fans. We had fans everywhere.
Maybe it's this POS Dell or POS IE browser or something.

Doesn't happen on my phone btw.

My oldest dog has a digestive upset......the runs and feeling a bit low. Sorry I was away for a bit, but she did not eat her usual supper that I had dissolved meds in, so I had to make another batch that was just canned dog food....with a new batch of meds....and she just eat it.

My folks set their AC to 85 in the summertime. Today that's 25 degrees cooler than it is outside.

I have a niece living in Chicago, so I pay attention a bit to that weather......can have both hot and cold extremes!

My desktop is a dell running XP Pro, and I mostly use firefox for browsing.

At the ol' ladie's request.....after she took the dog for a piss, I just stepped outside, and it feels like it did the last time we were in St. Augustine. The humidity is fucking heinous. :(

The utility bills are worth every fucking cent as long as you're comfortable in your home Thore. ;)

    85 ffs! If it's 70 indoors I'm uncomfortable.
