i watched tv in bed all day. now i can't sleep

 

Weirdest thing just happened: I was sittin' in the corner chair watching TV, my 2 dogs sitting in front of me on the floor. Suddenly my door opens and a 19-20 year-old guy walks right in. He sees me and my dogs, says "Oh... excuse me, I'm very sorry..." and leaves. Fast. I got up quickly and walked out my door (I'm on the 2nd floor) and there was nobody anywhere, and no sounds of walking or cars starting or anything. Poof. He was gone. I made a police report. We'll see what happens. He was wearing an oversize hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, covering his forehead. I would have liked to have "gotten to know him better." Except the dogs would have gotten to him first. They're quicker than I am.

It was unlocked - I leave it that way when I'm home.

EDIT: I don't know how he got in the building, though.

 

That would have scared the shit out of me. Seriously.

 

You would have had your door locked though, so that would never happen to you.

EDIT: With the dogs here, there's really not much anybody is going to get away with if they come in.

 

Well, you can't open most apartment doors here from the outside anyway. Without a key.

He didn't seem stoned. The strange thing is I wasn't scared. I was getting up to face him off as he went out the door. Hmmm.

 

That's what makes me think he just walked in the wrong door. Someone buzzed him in and said, come on up the door's unlocked.

There was some kind of gay convention in town over the weekend. They may not have been gay. I'm just guessing.
