Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     they tend to show a mix of stuff like ice skating & Lindsey Vonn that will appeal to woman on the main broadcast. They have been showing all the hockey games on CNBC.

    It actually works fine because they stay on the game an don't cut away ... if they showed the hockey game in prime time on NBC they'd never stay just on the game for the whole contest.

    Most everybody has CNBC in their basic cable packages, so it shouldn't be a problem for hockey fans.

    you're not getting my point. NBC treats teh Olympics like a TV show. An elaborate "reality" show. The assemble to footage each day in an effort keep keep the most viewers watching all night.

    In "the original 6" cities, hockey is pretty big. But middle America doesn't care -- no hockey there to begin with.
