    Neighbor drove Blaze and me to the vet. I brought stool samples for both dogs, but they only had time to see Blaze. Vet thinks it's bacterial in nature. He did an anal exam, gave her a shot, and sent us home with pills for Blaze. They'll call me tomorrow with the results of the stool analysis. Blaze won't eat the pill, so I have to force it on her somehow.

    Hope it helps start the road to recovery....and yes, giving pills to dogs can be a pain....I have to dissolve the pills in food they really like here....

    Sorry to hear your dogs aren't doing well pm. Does Blaze have an appetite at all? I never dissolved the pills, what I used to do was break them in small pieces and jam them down in bite size pieces of hot dogs and feed them that way. That was with beagles though that would eat hot dogs any time you put them in front of them.
